Press Release: Conversant add PCI & MiFID II compliant call recording and International SIP Trunks to their Voice for Microsoft Teams Platform.

Unified Communications Platform Provider, Conversant Technology, have added PCI & MiFID II complaint call recording and International SIP Trunks available in 60+ countries to their Voice for Microsoft Teams Platform.

The latest update to Conversant’s Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams platform, Voice for Teams, comes after several months of integral development and testing. Conversant claim this update has added ‘fundamental functionalities’ for many companies that currently weren't available in the Microsoft Teams market.

PCI and/or MiFID II complaint call recording is an essential feature for many companies, especially those that operate in the financial or legal sector, to cover several corporate legalities. Previously without the ability to record their calls, these companies would strictly not be able to make the switch to using Microsoft Teams as their all-in-one communications platform.

Additionally, the ability to have international DID (Direct Inward Dialling) numbers in 60+ countries and localised SIP Trunks in 25 countries enables companies to consolidate all their communications onto Teams and benefit from Conversant’s competitive domestic and international calling rates.

Patrick Copping, MD at Conversant Technology stated “These features have become almost elementary to many traditional business PBX systems over the years but until now have been alien-like in a Teams environment. By offering these features and thereby eliminating multiple barriers for many companies, we are delighted to be opening the doors to allow these companies to now ultimately make the switch to use Teams ”.

Patrick Copping has 20+ years experience in Microsoft solutions including being one of the first to offer a hosted Skype for Business platform at his previous company Atia Communications before setting up Conversant Technology.

Copping adds; “By adding these crucial features, we are continuing our journey to becoming recognised as the platform provider of choice for Voice for Microsoft Teams resellers and offering the most comprehensive UC Teams experience on the market for end users”.
